How do I reset my Lantern Pro password?

If you've forgotten your Lantern Pro password — or never set one because you purchased Pro before the current version of the app — you can reset it from the sign-in screen.

  1. From the menu (top right), tap Sign In to Lantern.
  2. Enter your Lantern Pro email and tap Sign in with Email.
  3. On the password screen, tap Forgot your password?
  4. Re-enter your email on the Reset Your Password screen.
  5. A 6-digit code will be sent to that email. Enter it on the Confirm Email screen. If it doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or tap Resend Email.
  6. Create a new password. It must contain at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character.

You'll see “Your password has been reset successfully” and can sign in normally.

Note: If you signed up with Google or Apple, you don't have a Lantern password by default. You can still use this flow to create one for the first time, or just sign in with the Continue with Google / Continue with Apple button.

If your email is on qq.com, 163.com, 126.com, or sina.com: these providers are sometimes blocked and the verification code may not arrive. Reply to your support ticket with an alternative email address (Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, or Proton Mail) and we can update your account.
