If you've requested a 6-digit verification code (for signup, sign-in, password reset, or email change) and it hasn't arrived, try the following:
- Check your spam or junk folder. Lantern verification emails sometimes land there.
- Tap “Resend Email” on the Confirm Email screen to request a new code.
- If your email is on qq.com, 163.com, 126.com, or sina.com: these providers are sometimes blocked and the message may not arrive at all. Use an alternative provider such as Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, or Proton Mail. The app will warn you about this when you enter one of those addresses.
If none of those resolve the problem, open a support ticket with the email address you're trying to use and we'll help.
