You can delete your Lantern Pro account from the app on any device where you're signed in. Account deletion is permanent: you'll lose access on all devices, and any remaining Pro subscription time is forfeited (no refund).
- Open the menu (top right) and tap Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the warning. To proceed, you'll be asked to verify your identity:
- If you signed up with email and password: enter your password and tap Confirm Deletion.
- If you signed up with Google or Apple: tap Verify with Google or Verify with Apple and authenticate with the same account you used to sign up. (If you sign in with a different Google or Apple account, the app will let you know it doesn't match.)
You'll see “Your account has been permanently deleted.” You can tap Cancel at any point before confirmation to stop.
If you're on a version of Lantern older than 9.0.1, the in-app delete option is not available. Open a support ticket and we'll process the deletion for you.
